Ise Haiku Society

JOIN US!

Ise is the birthplace of the founder of Haiku, Arakida Moritake. Ueno, near Ise, is the birthplace of the great haiku poet, Matsuo Basho. Blessed with nature and the tradition of literature, Ise is one of the best places to enjoy and study Haiku.

Ise Haiku Society was founded in 1997 to promote writing and appreciation of haiku, and the exchange of Haiku around the world
