Distant View of Ise Bay from Mt. Asama (Ise City)

A lookout platform with a restaurant is on the Ise Shima Skyline (the mountain high-way) between Ise City and Toba-City. It's located below the top of Mt. Asama, but the landscape is really wonderful. You can enjoy exquisite formative arts of the complex shorelines and many islands on the deep blue ocean.
 

Here is the top of Mt. Asama. When you drive up to the top on Ise Shima Skyline, there is the viewing platform. However the top of Mt. Asama is farther still. Because the mountain stands 555 meters above sea level and it is the highest points in this area, a TV relay tower is there. Beside the tower, there is a shrine called Hachidai Ryuo. Unfortunately, the view from the top isn't the best. Views of Ise-Bay are obstructed by branches.
